Breast Cancer-Listen To Yourself

Three years ago, I came to Hippocrates with the beginnings of breast cancer. My initial stay was very positive, I embraced the program, healed myself, and did very well for about two years, even though I went right back into the same patterns and the same environment as before. But eventually the high stress of taking my students through competitions, ratings, performances, working long hours, no rest, and not 100% on the diet, allowed the cancer to return.

I know now that constant negative thought processes affect your immune system. I had to make a decision to live, to change all the negatives, even the streets I live on, the things I look at daily…conscious choices, instead of getting ill as a way out.

Family support is so important. My husband and children supported the changes. And I’m once again renewing my faith in myself to heal. I know I’m going to get well. I’m going to be fine. I know how to do it.

I know that healing is a life-long process. The diet works when you are doing it! The first few months always get dramatic results. From there the layers go deeper. You have to do the diet, think the thoughts, get rid of the stresses and know that the most important person in the process is you.

Listen to yourself. If there is any caution in you about what you’re choosing to eat, how you’re relating or where you live…don’t do it. Make sure there is a balance in your life. Make sure you are happy. You can’t do it all at once. You can’t abbreviate the truth. We are body, soul and spirit, but without a strong healthy body as your platform to provide the chemistry of stability, nothing can thrive. You need to do what works for you for the rest of your life. I will!
