Eric Vance was born it Pittsburg Pennsylvania where his father was an architect in the steel manufacturing business. His family of six moved to Florida where his father started his own construction company (Sun Coast Structures). He became a Forman of his father’s company at a very young age and led crews building multi story buildings, large commercial skylights, spiral staircases, and setting flag poles.
After 10 years of working for his father, Eric ventured off on his own doing what he loved which was carpentry and working on large scale buildings and mansions. After 10 years of new construction he branched off in a new direction which was restoring houses. He became very interested in the remodeling of kitchens, bathrooms and upgrading the entire appearance of houses including architectural moldings, custom stair cases and exterior landscaping.
His construction experience led him to work for his brother’s architectural molding company (Green Forest Industries). He became manager and for five years was responsible for running a very busy shop. He produced and shipped large architectural molding packages to lumber companies and contractors all over the eastern United States.
On his off time, he enjoys spending time with his three daughters, two grandsons and granddaughter. He also enjoys the Florida lifestyle which includes fishing, boating, water sports, traveling, camping and going to the springs. Additionally Eric spends his free time going to the gym, visiting public parks, and going to the beautiful Florida beaches.
In 2009 Eric had the pleasure of working for Hippocrates Health Institute where he became a director of Maintenance/Landscaping after 6 Months. Working at Hippocrates has been very inspiring for him, and he appreciates all that he’s learned being a Manager of the grounds.
