Michael Allen is the Operations Vice President of Hippocrates Health Institute, where he oversees all aspects of customer service, property management, legal interpretation, development and real estate, construction and capital improvements, media relations, property operations, maintenance and landscaping operations, marketing and social media, the Oasis Spa, organic green house and farm, PR and local community association relations, and the overall success of the HHI guest experience.
Michael brings to Hippocrates over 29 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry with destination spa, golf, and oceanfront resorts. He has 12 years of experience as a general manager with destination properties such as Nantucket Island Resorts, Intercontinental Hotel, Grove Isle Hotel & Spa, Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa, and The Inn and Spa at Loretto.
Michael has overseen more than 150 million dollars in renovations to hotels and resorts, and his vision has created world-class spas, restaurants and hotels. Most recently, he was the general manager at the Renaissance Hotel in Boca Raton, Florida, where he was responsible for the property’s luxury guest rooms, outdoor space and grounds, as well as 15,000 sq. feet of corporate and event meeting space, development of the resort, sales and marketing, PR and social media, construction and renovations.
Michael is a proven leader in the hospitality field, committed to providing each Hippocrates guest with an exceptional experience. He holds a B.S. in sports management and business from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst as well as an associate degree in travel & tourism management from the State University of New York.
