Nancy DiMaio first became involved in the spa industry in 1999. She spent most of her earlier years entrenched in helping to build start-up retail companies that launched ground-breaking business models.
Recognizing the explosive growth in the spa industry, Nancy first entered the market as a distributor and marketer for spa equipment and retail spa products. She trained other spa owners on the equipment and products she distributed, helped to integrate the products into menus for greater profitability, and created unique marketing programs to profitably launch these new initiatives.
Nancy has also been on the other side of the spa equation as an owner and operator of spas. She was an owner/operator of a luxury resort spa at a 1000+ room Caribbean resort. Recognizing the trend in anti-aging and the lucrative baby boomer market, Nancy also co-founded one of the first medicals spas in Florida.
Nancy has been involved in consulting and operating numerous resort spas. Being involved in several spa openings, Nancy was instrumental in developing spa programs that reflected the intrinsic character of each property.
Nancy has also provided management oversight for spa, fitness, recreation and wellness at various prominent destination resorts in the United States. She developed programs and services that provided unique yet therapeutic benefits.
Nancy recognizes that the role of spa is more than relaxation, but also about promoting and providing the tools for a healthier lifestyle. She joined the Hippocrates management team to dedicate her time and passion in assisting guests in their individual journeys to health and wellness. Nancy continually looks outside the norm to develop highly effective, unique therapies and treatments to assist Hippocrates guests in their goal to optimal wellness.
When Nancy is not at Hippocrates, chances are you will find her spending her time in her ever growing organic garden.
