Water is called the source of life. We start our life journey in the calming waters of our mother’s womb. Every time we swim or take a bath, our body remembers that sacred experience. Water lovingly supports our body and gives us mobility and flexibility to our joints and muscles. Exercising in the water increases our strength and improves our posture and balance.

That’s why we are so excited to introduce you to our new Aqua Sound Therapy facilitated by Karina Fehrmann.

Karina found her passion for aquatic bodywork in 2003, which led her to Harbin School of Healing Arts, studying with Harold Dull the originator of Watsu. Since then she has learned a variety of aquatic bodywork techniques, including Watsu, Healing Dance and Waterdance. Throughout twenty years Karina has had a variety of experiences that contribute to her knowledge of different modalities in the field of bodywork. Her extensive massage techniques include using a combination of Swedish massage, Deep Tissue, CranioSacral, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Reiki and Aquatic massage.

Karina has been a Nationally Certified massage therapist since 1994 and is a Watsu practitioner registered with WABR – the Worldwide Aquatic Bodywork Registry.

Karina offers Aqua Sound therapy, a 50 or 80 therapy which combines all the techniques above. Pumping specialized healing frequencies into the water, the sound vibrations ripple out into the body helping to re-harmonize and restore balance to your mind, body and spirit. Using body work techniques, stretches and frequencies, the combination reduces pain, restores flexibility and creates profound relaxation.
