I find myself reflecting on the concept of forward movement. How is it that my own preoccupation with this concept contains and limits the connection to life’s magic and perfection?

As a space holder and care taker for those people that are called to participate in the HED program and commit their lives to (in the words of my dear friend and HED alumni, Alex Chebal) “sharing and loving a better lifestyle”, I realize that I am so busy preparing for the next group of students, that there is very little time given to lifting up and honoring the accomplishments of our HED graduates.

This up and coming corner in the e-newsletter has been generously granted to us as a means of communicating and mostly honoring these radiant people. We encourage you to read about their inspiring creations as well as find the areas in your own life that are being called to be acknowledged and honored as well.

We begin with a conscious connection to diversity. There is no one path that creates harmony within and without, but many. Our HED grads are a beautiful reflection of that. You will find them giving attention to solitude and connection to self, investing in the power of support and connection to like-minded people and expressing their unique perspectives as inspiration for others to do the same.

As life escalates in our day to day responsibilities and pressures, a journey to solitude and connection to self becomes a welcomed friend. Designing retreats is a great way to offer this to others. This year, we have places all over the world where HEDs are creating places to retreat, rejuvenate and reconnect.

  • An HED graduate from Spring 2016, Cat Faith has designed a retreat in Mallorca in May which aligns with her values and discoveries as a shaman and caretaker of the earth. Click here to lern more about Mallorca in May!

  • An HED graduate from Spring 2013, Fernanda Beccaglia has designed a retreat which aligns with her values and discoveries as a yoga and meditation teacher. Click here to learn more about Colorado in June!

  • An HED graduate from Fall 2016, Prerna Shah has designed a retreat in Nepal in August which aligns with her values and discoveries within the sacred sites of her homeland and her devotion to yoga. Click here to learn more about Nepal in August!

The power of support is one of the underlying attributes to the successes we see here at Hippocrates. It is subtle and precious and creating opportunities for this support in our communities is a palpable way to maintain change. We are blessed to have HEDs around the world providing this support in a multitude of ways.

  • An HED graduate from Fall 2016, Alex Chebal has created a “Vegan Wagon” which makes delicious plant based delicacies available on wheels to the community of West Palm Beach Florida. Click here to learn more about Vegan meals in WPB!

  • An HED graduate from Summer 2015, Diane DeGuzman Pyle has created a high powered network of professionals that work to support the creation and maintenance of intuitive websites for wellness practitioners providing them with online presence. Click here to learn more about High Vibration Websites!

  • An HED graduate from Fall 2012, Sandra Rangel is launching her first book “Our Invisible Friends” at the International Book Fair in Bogota in April. It responds to the value of microbial communities that live in our bodies as being a key to optimum health and wellness.

Lastly, the choice to live according to one’s own compass is a fresh note of inspiration to many. We have HED’s who are aligning with their call from within and making powerful differences in the lives of many as a result.

  • An HED graduate from Fall 2013, Phil Nicozisis has merged his love for travel with his gift of speaking and through an opportunity called Remote Year used this as a platform for giving 22 lectures in 10 different countries in the first six months of his journey and opening people up to the idea of Veganism all around the world.

  • An HED graduate from Summer 2017, Pierre Daoust has merged his love for fitness with his gift of leadership into designing and implementing a Weight Loss Program here at HHI and is now a member of the management team.

  • An HED graduate from Spring 2018, Subah Jain has merged her love for truth with her gift of communication into an up and coming you tube channel which she has called it AyuNature.

As we move into the next new moon cycle, we will look forward to shining the light on more moments of victory and accomplishment both in our HED graduates and HHI ambassadors as well as each of us in our own lives.
