Ever since she was a little girl, Ana Maria realized that what she loved the most is to help others. And later, when she discovered that one could reach this goal better by working with others, she learned how to build a solid team.
She had came from Peru, where she worked for the National Airline – Aeroperu – and due to her strong organizational skills, loyalty, persistence and commitment to meeting other’s needs, she was promoted to the position of Station Manager. But, her quest for perfection brought her to the U.S. 12 years ago to chase new horizons.
Ana Maria loves the multicultural diversity of Florida, since working with different cultures made her look at the world from a different perspective. She has worked in the hospitality business since 2002. Her experience includes: Housekeeping Manager for The Hollywood Diplomat, for three years; Singer Island Luxury Collection Resort, for four years; and for the past five years, The Breakers.
Her continuous pursuit for new challenges brought her to Hippocrates as a Housekeeping and Laundry Manager, where she leads a group of twenty five. Her team takes care that our common areas and rooms look immaculate and organized. She is responsible for our room attendants being well trained under the same standards. And, makes sure that our guests feel comfortable, welcomed and satisfied while she tries to anticipate their needs.
Her work in Hippocrates has given her the chance to interact more with of our guests – she loves it! – and true to her spirit, she is pursuing new skills: she is learning to live a healthier life and she is helping others to feel that way too.
Ana Maria is a fighter who sets high standards and reaches them. She is a team leader that actually enjoys teamwork. Ana Maria is also the proud mother of Rodrigo, a future graduating doctor, and Francesca, who shares her mother’s passion for people.
