In 1991, I was totally debilitated, couldn’t stay awake, no strength at all. 1995 was holy hell- severe, almost unendurable pain.

What really helped me succeed was my huge thirst for knowledge and love of learning. I attended a lecture by a well-know raw food nutritionist who delivered a message that spoke to my heart.

I had quite an active lifestyle until my first daughter came along in 2000. I was working full time and only had a few precious hours with her each day.

I started to eat better and did some light walking to get my blood flowing. Little by little I built up a good pace and a great attitude and started to lose weight and get control of my life.

At my own behest, I cooperated with some basic tenets of restoring my health. I gave up meat, dairy, chicken, eggs and fish.

Thank goodness the doctors in the emergency room possessed great resilience because they spent eighteen hours working on me.

During the first week, my blood-sugar became normal and, within three days, I stopped taking the glucophage. I learned that the pain and disease in my body had an emotional component.

Time passed. I reached 50 and realized that I had been slowly dying all my life. I retired early because of health concerns and entered the hospital where they diagnosed me with angioma cancer.

Immediately, I started conventional treatments. In parallel, I started researching cancer prevention, feeling that if I do not change something “the beast” would come back.

Throughout the years, I've met many people who have overcome disease. Some have used the HHI principles, and others have not.

My visit turned out to be extraordinary, after all the years of failing I could not believe what was happening.
